VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Those long line-ups at passport offices may get a little shorter. Starting today, Service Canada Centres in North Vancouver, Burnaby and Coquitlam are accepting passport applications.
The three centres will collect the fees and necessary identification, such as birth or citizenship certificates, and ensure the application is properly completed before sending it on to Passport Canada.
Passport Canada will then courier the finished passport and original identification back to the applicant. The government says expansion of passport receiving agent services continues right across the country and more sites could be added in BC.
