溫哥華將於8月9日星期六 舉辦一個新的大型活動——歡樂日節（Pleasant Day Festival），這是一個為期一天的免費節日，將在從第 16 街到愛德華國王大道（King Edward Avenue）的Main 街上舉行。在這裡將有多個現場音樂表演、美食餐車、啤酒花園，以及豐富多樣的手工藝品集市。

本次活動的亮點包括The Acorn 餐廳特別推出的BBQ 燒烤和啤酒花園，以及其他好幾個不同的啤酒花園，包括歡樂日啤酒節休閒花園、MainStreet Brewing x Brassneck 啤酒花園等。

除了The Acorn 餐廳外，還有很多其他大牌餐廳也將參加這次活動，包括Anh and Chi，Heritage Restaurant and Bar，The Farmhouse等。
