I am trying to explain the meaning of brainstorming and ice breaker to my firend who has limited English.
When I looked these terms in the English-Chinese dictionary, the Chinese translation are not the exactly meaning of the terms.
Does anybody know the appropriate terms in Chinese for brainstorming and ice breaker? Thanks for everyone's idea in advance.

I do not know if exact equivalent terms exist in Chinese. Not every term in one language has a translation. Brainstorming is nothing other than sharing ideas in a meeting without necessarily planning to reach a conclusion or action plan. An icebreaker is a party for people new to each each other to get to know each other.
These terms are not necessarily that important, unless you are already fairly fluent. It is more important to get common phrases right.
Ann should have said "look up" in a dictionary, "the exact meaning" and "everyone's ideas".

Thanks for point out my writing errors and the reply too.
My friend is new to Canada and she is joining some classes in Vancouver. In China, we only have lectures and assignments. However, teachers have diverse teaching strategics in Canada, such as brainstorming, ice breaker and case study. My friend is confused by these terms and don't know how to play her role in her group. It is the reason I am trying to find out the exact equivalent terms in Chinese for her.

Sounds like your friend is taking MBA courses. --- My guess only.
