回國度假一個月，回來發現房子(townhouse)被break-in，後院玻璃門被敲破了，肯定從這裡進出的，家裡的抽屜都被打開，錢包、皮夾被翻得亂七八糟，初略檢查了一番，好像沒有大的損失。信用卡、支票倒還在，家裡的桌上型電腦與筆記本電腦都還在，不知道小偷的目的，難道只是找現金？但是有個錢包裡有2百元人民幣，也沒有動，想想還真是可怕，溫哥華治安的確不太好。

請教大家我該如何處理？
1、需要報警嗎，需要說什麼，有啥好處與壞處？
2、需要報Strata嗎，有什麼好處與壞處，比如會不會影響小區的resale value？
3、後院的玻璃門怎麼修理？

2要報告，這樣可以讓大家重視一下，加強鄰裡的守望相助

3拍個照片，看看修理的價錢，能不能讓保險cover，如果是townhouse/apt，可能有可能由strata cover.

一定要報案的，把實際情況跟警察匯報一下，後院的玻璃門是不是應該跟你們的物業聯系一下，找原廠來修理。也要把被盜的情況跟物業經理匯報。

也不知道STRATA是否有保失竊，我看了這個ByLaw，我家後院說是屬於limited common property.

Repair and maintenance of property by strata corporation
Subject to bylaw2(3), the strat corporation must repair and maintan all of the following:
a) common assest of the strata corporation;
b) common property that has not been designated as limited common property;
c) limited common property, but the duty to repair and maintain it is restricted to
1) repair and maintenance that in the ordinary course of events occurs less often than once a year, and
2) the following, no matter how often the repair or maintenance ordinarily occurs:
A. the structure of a building;
B. the exterior of a building;
C. chimneys, stais, balconies and other things attached to the exterior of a building;
D. doors, windows and skylights(including the casings, the frames and the sills doors, windowns and skylights) on the exterior of a building or that front on or are situated over common property;
E. fences, railings and similar structures that enclose patios, balconies and yards;
