For those wondering how they can sell it for 1/3 the price, be aware that they AREN'T.
This isn't the same as what you'll see at Staples, NCIX or elsewhere in the $140-$160 range.
This is a new model that's exclusive to Best Buy for the time being. The internals are different, and that's why this one (the Pro) ships in gray and black models rather than the Pogoplug V2's pink.
For those interested in hacking it, be aware it's a different processor than previous models. It's an armv6tel processor from the ARM11 family, clocked at 750MHz, instead of the 1.2GHz Sheeva from Marvell. It's also slimmed down to just 128MB of RAM and flash. The V2 has 256MB for each and the original SheevaPlug has 512MB for each.
The internal differences may make it harder to stuff the OS and apps into the constraints or just affect performance. On the plus side, though, it's supposed to have B/G/N Wi-Fi, even if the Best Buy site doesn't mention it.
All that said, for $50 it's a cute little toy to play with and may be useful to some as a replacement for a home server computer that's built on low power consumption. Heck you might even be able to fire up Transmission on there and use it as a torrent box!

So the grey one has 1.2G ARM926EJ, 256M RAM, 128M NAND Flash, 91M available for the user apps.
One interesting thing I found is that it does include a rt3070sta.ko driver for Ralink RT2870/RT2770/RT3070 USB Wifi card.
So if you already have one, just stick it in and it might work with some hacking.
Have fun!
