Powerbuilder/Sybase Systems Analyst/Developer long CONTRACT Richmond
Project assignments:
. Undertake the following areas in the systems development life cycle:
Analyze, design, code, unit test, support, enhance and
implement into production
Preference:
. Will be given to consultants with experience with the WCB software
development environment, methodology, testing practices and tools.
Mandatory skills, knowledge and experience:
. 8 to 12 years of Sybase PowerBuilder development and analysis experience
General skills, knowledge and experience:
. Proficiency in modelling skills, to represent requirements information in
graphical forms that augment textual representations
. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills; ability to synthesize
complex information, applying logical reasoning and sound technical and/or
business knowledge
. Ability to prioritize along critical path and meet project milestones and
deliverable dates
. Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work
collaboratively with other teams. Ability to work well under pressure
with limited supervision
. Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal
communication skills
