BUILDING TOGETHER - Settlement & Integration Program
A settlement services professional will assess your needs and work with you to help you:
•
Learn about Canada, Canadian social systems, and the labour market;
•
Better cope with the stress of adapting and settling in Canada;
•
Connect with volunteer friends in the community;
•
Get information on schools, health care system, housing, and recreation options;
•
Overcome family and cultural adjustment issues;
•
Set career plans and identify potential barriers; and,
•
Understand the immigration and refugee process.
