Come celebrate with us and tell all your friends! It’s a free Community Science Celebration, right here in Vancouver!

Science World at TELUS World of Science will have free general admission (OMNIMAX® not included) on Saturday, October 13, and Sunday, October 14, made possible thanks to the support of our presenting sponsors, BC Hydro and Genome British Columbia.

Throughout the weekend, everyone will have the opportunity to explore Science World’s new spaces at TELUS World of Science (including parts of its new outdoor Ken Spencer Science Park) and experience some once-in-a-lifetime programming by a Canadian Space Agency astronaut, a TRIUMF physicist, and many other members of Vancouver’s scientific community.

The Vancouver Community Science Celebration is the highlight of Around the Dome in 30 Days—A Month-long Science Extravaganza, hosted by Science World British Columbia from September 21 to October 21, 2012. The goal of this month-long series of activities is to bring the community together to showcase and explore the science and technology all around us in order to cultivate a general public that is informed of, inspired by, and engaged with the wonders of science.
