网站travelandleisure最近评选出世界20大最美的图书馆，其中温哥华中央图书馆名列第6名，这也是加拿大唯一入选世界最美的图书馆。

温哥华中央图书馆由世界著名建筑师Moshe Safdie设计的，将传统与新的时尚完美结合，建筑呈螺旋上升状，好像一个现代的罗马圆形大剧场，又好像一本正在打开的书本，并利用桥梁人行道将研究领域和广场连接起来。

这也是加拿大唯一入选的图书馆。
