其中按照第4项的要求,中国护照上有中文的出入境章、换汇章等就必须提供翻译件。而翻译件的内容包括三个部分,

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
the English or French translation;
a certified copy of the document; and
a translator's declaration.

其中, a certified copy of the document, 就是指护照必须经过公证。

综上所述,只要有出入境章要翻译,护照复印件就必须公证。可以提供公证服务的包括法律公证人notary、律师等等。

I just received my PR card this month. I just copied every page of my passport and listed each absence from Canada on the application form. You don't have to provide a certified copy of your passport if you don't leave from Canada frequently making them doubt your residency obligation.

以前不用，现在要了。。。。。。

似乎对翻译的人的资质没有要求?只要不是一家的人都可以翻译。

然后再由可以certify的人来签字就应该可以了吗?

能certify的人太多了,CGA,p.eng等等。

所以根本不用找notary。

但我不确定翻译由谁来做?

CGA PENG Physician 都可以，不过想吃免费餐可不容易。。。。。。
