TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE
The Internet Marketing Center (http://careers.marketingtips.com) is
currently
seeking Technical Support Representatives to join our Technical Support
Team.

The Internet Marketing Center has been the Internet's leading resource
for
cutting-edge Internet marketing information and software since 1995.
Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, this
young
and
energetic company is privately owned and extremely profitable. We
currently
have about 100 employees and we are seeking 2 Technical Support
Representatives
to join our fun, dynamic team of talented individuals.
THE CHALLENGE
Provide superior customer service, technical and software application
support.
Trouble-shoot problems and provide complete solutions to ensure
customer
satisfaction is attained. Contribute technical content to the Customer
Support
Web site, and work with other team members including Product
Development
to
resolve difficult technical issues. Stay abreast of the latest
technology
trends.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a Call Center or Help Desk environment.
• Ability to act in a responsive and sensitive manner to all customer
inquiries.
• Must have excellent phone and e-mail etiquette.
• Must be a team player and also be able to work independently.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Strong willingness to find answers and solutions.
TROUBLESHOOTING AND PROBLEM DETERMINATION SKILLS
• Excellent knowledge of Internet applications such as: Web browsers,
E-mail,
FTP clients, Web design tools.
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as: Perl, PHP, ASP,
ColdFusion.
• Knowledge of database services such as: MySQL, MSSQL Server, MS
Access.
• 1-2 years experience in a customer service, help desk, or call
center
role.
