Currently we have many roles we are hiring for (List can be seen below). Please read through the brief descriptions and let me know which track of engineering you feel you are most experienced in. The descriptions are very brief as we do not have a specific job description we are hiring for. We are hiring aggressively at all levels so at this point in time we have kept our job descriptions very brief to yield maximum results for our hiring goals.
Interview Process:
Our Interview is generally 3 rounds…
1.
1st/2nd Round - Technical Phone Screen - Managers would give you a call on the number provide and we would ask you have a computer as well as internet access to be able to do a live coding session. The interview will be based more on the fundamentals of CS, Data Structures and Algorithms.
2.
3rd Round - At this point, we will be bringing you out to our campus for the final round of interview. While on campus you will tour the campus, have lunch with managers, meet various different team members, and of course have a few more technical rounds of interview.
What I need from you...
In order to get you scheduled for a chat with the managers I need the following information to put into the system.
Below are some questions I would like you to answer to help me provide managers better notes regarding your experience.

If not local, what would you need to do to relocate to the SF Bay Area?

What are 3 time slots you are available to interview? (One hour technical interview in which you will require a computer and internet access as it will be some sort of live coding session. Please provide times in PST)
We are hiring for multiple positions in the following technology areas:
1.
Applications: Bring your experience building APIs and user-centric online applications, scaling performance and 24x7 reliability.
2.
Front-End Engineering: You’ll build the client web components (HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSP, YUI/JQuery) and server-side presentation tier in Java, JRuby, or Grails.
3.
Mobile Applications: Bring your rich experience building native and HTML5 applications for Android, iPhone, iPad, or Blackberry.
4.
Systems and Infrastructure: Building massive scalability infrastructure and storage solutions requires you to understand frameworks for caching, queuing and distributed data storage. Bring your deep understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, caching, and parallel processing technologies.
5.
Data Analysis, Data Mining and Machine Learning: To draw insights from our massive semi-structured and graph datasets, you need experience in data mining, information retrieval and/or machine learning and a strong systems orientation. Ideally, you have experience with MapReduce (e.g. Hadoop), and search engine internals (e.g. Lucene/SOLR).
6.
Tools Engineering: You’ll develop internal command line and web based tools to automate development, deployment, management and monitoring of our 24x7 online site.
7.
Performance Engineering: You’re an expert in finding bottlenecks. Bring your experience building performance benchmarks, analyzing and tuning HTTP interactions and storage systems like Oracle, Voldemort, BerkeleyDB etc.
