Yellowstone Park open in winter through Dec 21 to Mar 12. the only entrance is the north entrance of the Park. It is located in Gardiner, MT. 55 miles south of the exit #333 of I90 in Montana.
You may check road condition of Montana through this website:
You may ski, rent a snowmobile to travel inside the park (regular automobile only can drive from Gardine, MT to Cooke City, MT, other roads you have to take snowmobile, snowcoach, dog sled or/and ski). You may park you car in north entrance and rent the snowmobile or take the snowcoach.
The sightseeing in winter in Yellowstone is obsolutely different with other seasons. I have already booked hotel in Mammoth Hot Springs and Xanterra Parks and Resorts. Hope see you guys there!
Private, noncommercial automobile $20 (7 days, both Yellowstone and Grand Teton)
Single entry (foot, bike, ski, etc.) $15 (7 days, both parks).
Lodge:
Mammoth Hot Spring Hotel open on Dec 23 to Mar 5
Old Faithful Snow Lodge: open from Dec 21 to Mar 12
Reservaitions recommended: 307-344-7311
Actually, you may stay outside of the park, there are some hotels next to the north entrance. They are musch cheaper the two hotels inside the park. Because your ticket is 7 days, you may stay outside the park at night.
