Yeah, I love Baghdatis. He is way better than Hewitt and Rodick. As he said in the interview, when he leads 2:0 in the second set, he starts thinking about the trophy. Federer sees that and starts playing serve and volley. This destroys the momentom of Baghdatis. And it's not surprised to see 0:6, 2:6 in the following sets.

IMHO, marcos ran out of breath from the end of the second set. He chased almost every single impossible ball down and turn them to his winners. It reminded me the games michael chang played against pete or jim. chang always managed to win the first set but lost the rest. indeed, roger plays on another planet, the rest play on the earth.
i am not looking down marcos or looking up high roger, but it was what happened. marcos had to put in 120% to win a set, then he ran out of fuel in his tank. nevertheless, i wished it could be a five setter which would be more entertaining and interesting.
marcos played great tennis, and he is young. his hard work already brings result. oh, he reminds me rios though.

IMHO 2, Roger plays on earth for most of the time. What makes him No.1 is that he can manage to go to another planet when he really needs to. In Baghdatis's words, "If you let Roger play his game, it will be really tough...". The only way to beat Roger is just not letting him play his game. Baghdatis has shown how to exactly do this by his return of Roger's second serve for one and a half sets. Too bad he couldn't keep doing that for the whole match. When he can, he will be not far from No.1 then.

one other little finding is that roger didnot move as well as he did back in 2004 and 2005(excluding master cup). he seemed a little step behind some wide shots (which he used to chase and get himself in position). maybe his ankle? or he is little heavier these days

that it was seen, marcos had a cramp, cause he push himself over his physical limit in the leading set and a half.
maybe some better fitness is the key in future.
