Provide reactive tier 3 support for very complex or high impact data, security, voice and video issues
Fulfill complex data, voice, security or video requests within the promised timeframes
Mentor network analysts on complex issue resolution or advanced request fulfillment
Research, recommend and order new services, circuits or equipment from our preferred vendors
Design, implement and secure production network, voice and video failover strategies
Create and review Requests For Information (RFI) and Requests For Proposal (RFP) for new communication technologies
Review, recommend and implement changes to the de-militarized zone (DMZ) network
Travel to and work in remote locations nationally or internationally (including the US)
Thoroughly stress test new technology in a lab setting, document configuration, oversee the release to production, and ensure supportable outcomes
Clearly communicate and defend required changes to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and IS teams
Assess and advocate for standardization where feasible
Provide leadership and guidance in the advanced configuration of network technologies
Provide leadership and guidance in the advanced configuration of VoIP systems
Provide leadership and guidance in the advanced configuration of video conferencing systems
Maintain voice and video integration
Provide strategic direction
Provide 24x7 support on an ad-hoc / as-needed basis

University Degree in Computing Sciences or Technology
CCNP or equivalent vendor certification
Cisco Call Manager / CUCM certifications
Microsoft certifications in Skype for Business or Exchange
CCIE (recommended)
Health, Safety and Reclamation Code (HSRC) certified (recommended)
10+ years supporting IS Infrastructure in a large complex corporate environment
Strong team player; builds positive relationships with colleagues and works well in virtual teams
Strong leadership skills
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, including Exchange or Skype for Business
Mastery-level understanding of IP networking
Strong understanding of VoIP and video (teleconferencing)
Meticulous with a propensity for pragmatism; strives to get the job done right
Expert technical, analytic and troubleshooting abilities; able to handle high severity incidents under extreme time pressures
Excellent organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with technical teams of varying disciplines and business users up-to a senior executive / C level

Spanish language skills considered an asset
