Apr. 4 Catch BC ferry at Horseshoe Bay for Langdale (40 minutes), at 11:20 ( or 13:20 / 15:30).

Reach Longdale at noon time. Get on Route 101 and head north as far as Gibsons (5km). Lunch at Molly’s Reach, for years the set for a popular Canadian television series and now a restaurant. After lunch, we can stroll around the numerous art galleries and craft shops, Elphinstone Pioneer Museum.
Head back to Route 101 to Sechelt (22km). Beautiful Sechelt Inlet is good for Kayaking. Keep going on to Halfmoon Bay, Pender Harbour and Ruby Lake to Earls Cove (59km). There are Porspose Bay Provincial Park, Sargeant Bay Provincial Park, Coopers Green Regional Park, and Smuggler Cove Provincial Marine Park on the way.
Take ferry again from Earls Cove to Saltery Bay (30 minutes). (16:25 / 18:25 / 20:20 / 22:10), to upper Sunshine Coast.
Continue to Powell River (31km). Some First Nations traditions and historic sites evident along the trail.

Apr. 5 Drive up to Lund (24km), the end of road 101. Back to Powell River to take the ferry to
Comox (Little River), Vancouver Island (8:00 / 12:10). (1 hour and 15 minutes).
It’s about 100km from Comox to Nanaimo. Hwy 19 is very fast, however, not as scenic as
old one Hwy 19A, also known as “Oceanside Route”.
There’s Gabriola Island 20=minute ferry ride from Nanaimo Harbour. Gabriola has a little of everything: sandy beaches, artisans, galleries, petroglyph sites, Drumbeg Provincial Park, and tide pools. (BC Ferry: 16:50 / 17:50 / 18:55 / 19:55)
Camping is possible at Newcastle Island Provincial Marine Park (250-753-3481), and Living Forest Oceanside Campground & RV Park, Jingle Pot Campsites, Bannen Lake Campsites.

Apr. 6 Ride to Victoria (113km). Take ferry from Swartz Bay back to Tsawwasen, Vancouver
(11:00 / 13:00 / 15:00 / 17:00 / 19:00 / 21:00), 1 hours and 35 minutes.
Stay one night in Victoria is another option.
