Most of measures taken by the governments are political motivated due to the pressure from voters. People look for affordable housing. It is reasonable. However, it is not always a good idea to build more houses or units. The markets will adjust themselves when the prices are too high to be affordable. you can\'t be more wrong. NIMBY is natural, existing residence gains very little when densitify happens. They have no reason to support this. And due to the unique location of N. Van, steps aways from city and nature, demands can not be higher. I would say half Canadian would want to live here if possible. Even with density, the price won\'t be low. Without it, it will through the roof and only those who is already here benefit. Build, at least more would enjoy it. 赞踩 1 回复 0
