2009-03-09 11:17:38I have not got time to install the printer driver for my Ubuntu since I started using it as my main work environment.
I had to do this several days ago because I was really tired of writing things on one computer and printing on another computer.
I made ther printer work with my Ubuntu after a little bit research.
But for the chinese characters, the font looked ugly and there were always some words missing.
What should I do? I really did not have more time for research on this (like find some Zi Ku? 。。。)! Suddenly on idea came to me: if I convert it to PDF format, it might be OK. One click is the only thing you need to do to convet what you write to PDF file by using Openoffice.
I did that and it woked!
Thank god(whatever).
Considering the printer installation in Ubuntu is always not as simple as that in windows, this way might also help me to save time later (like install some other printer with Ubuntu).
