I have spent some time trying to convert a wma file to mp3 file. After a day or two, I finally made it. I think there would be some benefits if I can record the steps, for my future reference, or for other people's suggestions.
There are a lot free media convert sharewares by searching internet. I downloaded one of them. But the first problem I encountered is the file "DRM protected" ( Wikipedia says it is digital rights management) and the program do not convert it. Does it mean that I have the right to use the file in Window media audio (WMA), but not in the format of MP3? Absurd!
Anyway, here is the site I found the information and downloaded the application:
I used Aimersoft protected Music Converter and it worked great! ( www.all-media-converte...erter.html ) You need to pay for it after 30 days though! Maybe I will use Freeme2 next time. It's a free application.
Maybe there are other brilliant ways to do it, bring them on!
