Job Title: Supervisor, Travel Clerks (NOC 62022)
Job duties:
• Establish work schedule, procedure and operation manual for reservation clerks and tour guides;
• Educate both reservation clerks and tour guides on our new tour products, services and packages;
• Monitor internal Group Control to coordinate between reservation and tour guide units
• Communicate with all business partners to ensure smooth connection and operations during each tour;
• Resolve all work-related problems whenever occurs;
• Propose and assist in developing new tour destinations and activities;
• Monitor and maintenance of internet, intranet and mobile applications to provide updated information, collect clients’ feedback and answer questions;
• Collaborate with the other departments to ensure smooth delivery of each tour package as committed.
• Co-ordinate, assign and review work, Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments;
• Requisition materials and supplies;
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports;
• Assist clients/guests with special needs;
• Other relevant duties as required.
Employment Requirements:
• College courses and diploma in tourism and travel services management is required;
• Bachelor degree is an asset
• 1-2 years’ experience in travel agencies or hospitality industry is required;
Language Requirements: English is required
Wages: $26.50 per hour
Term of employment: Permanent Full-Time: 30 hours per week
Benefits: two weeks’ vacation and dental benefit
