Bad news in China sounds like good news for the Western media which are hoping all bad things happening to China to prove that those bad things happened only caused by the political systems in China. Nothing bad could happen in Western countries as their systems are superior and everybody was happy. However, when you look around the local Western media, you can find almost nothing is good. They just do not publish those news in propaganda media.
