美国加州西岸圣地牙哥郡4月14日上午发生规模5.2地震，深度仅14.3公里。
综合美联社等报道，美国地质调查所（USGS）资料显示，震央位于圣地牙哥郡朱利安（Julian）以南约5公里处，震源深度仅14.3公里。
网络上的画面显示，地震剧烈摇晃，导致南加州住户架上和墙上物品掉落。
官员表示，目前尚无人员受伤或重大灾情通报。
另从圣地牙哥野生动物园野生动物保护区分享的画面中，可见象群在周一圣地牙哥郡发生的规模5.2地震时，迅速组成所谓的“警戒圈”，据圣地牙哥动物园野生动物联盟表示，这种行为是为了保护幼象及整个族群免受潜在威胁。
