不过一号高速北温Mountain Hwy以西已成为灾难现场。

上午8点左右，DriveBC提醒司机由于几辆汽车失控，预计上下坡方向都会出现延误。

西行的上坡方向尤为严重。在坡下方，两辆车因多个问题被困。导致坡下就已经出现严重拥堵。

上午9点多，DriveBC表示，多辆汽车脱离车道，一辆未系锁链的大型商用车无法动弹，西行线路在 Mountain Hwy 和 Lynn Valley Rd 之间的坡道上持续延误。

DriveBC称，工作人员正在现场协助司机，并注意到许多司机没有配备适当的装备。
